Crime Prevention For Taxicab Drivers

The most important asset of any organization who work for the organization. The safety and welfare of taxicab drivers is foremost in the mind of everyone. Drivers who are aware they become victims and have developed a plan of action for survival decrease the chances of being victimized.

Goal

The goal of the taxicab driver safety course is to reduce taxicab robberies and reduce crime by training taxicab drivers to prepare for, detect and avoid hazardous and life threatening situations through the use of proven techniques.

Planning

During Work Shift

The training will follow guidelines according to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH ) as risk factors:

  • Working with public
  • Working with cash
  • Working alone
  • Working at night
  • Working in high-crime areas
